Minimal title block?

I need a minimal title block. Just Title, Rev, Date and Sheet. Does anyone know  if/where one can be downloaded? (I know I can create with AutoCAD, but I don't have it installed and not proficient in using it or how to create title blocks in it)

Hi ittay.dror,

I modified one of our default titleblocks to include just the fields you were asking about, see attached.  Copy it locally then use the Insert option in the drawing to insert it into the drawing:

TBLK.png

You can then save that drawing out as a template and use it going forward so you don't have to re-insert the titleblock each time.  To fill in the info (it will not auto-populate), double-click the block once it's in the drawing.

We are currently working on an in-product block editor but that is in development and is still a number of releases out.

Hope that helps.

Thanks,

Chris

@cmiller66, where did you find the original file?

I created a new drawing  in Fusion, then Output that to DWG.  I then opened that in AutoCAD, wblocked out the titleblock as a new file, then edited that.  Once we get the block editor in and working you'll be able to do this within Fusion without the need for another program like AutoCAD.

Thanks,
Chris

I'd love to edit the current ISO title block that comes as standard with Fusion 360. I'm assuming it's a .dwg stored somewhere locally on my computer, but cannot find it. Anybody knows where it is?

I have the same problem. The standard ANSI titleblock takes up so much space on an a-size print I have no room left to put my drawings. I like the minimal one that Chris uploaded but that is a little bit on the opposite extreme. I have no access to AutoCad to make one myself. The ability to modify title blocks seems like such an essential tool for Fusion to have it should be a higher priority.

Hi Paul,

We are currently working on this, an in-Fusion Drawings editor which will allow you to edit or create a title block and edit the border (these are separate blocks in the drawing).

Thanks,
Chris
