Meshixer failing due to version of OpenGL

I'm trying to do a "Save as STL" with it going to Meshmixer, but when it attempts to start up Meshmixer I get an error:

OpenGL Problem.png

I've updated the driver for my graphics card, which is an AMD Radeon, reinstalled Meshmixer, and re-started my computer several times. But I keep getting that error message.

I do note that the error refers to OpenGL 1.1. But OpenGL is now at something like version 4.6. Is it possible that OpenGL is not backwards compatible, doesn't support software that expects earlier versions? Is it possible that Meshmixer insists on OpenGL 1.1 being directly available and can't handle newer versions?

This is a serious problem for me, since it means I can't 3D print any parts without Meshmixer available.

There seems to be a workaround.

I CAN start up Meshmixer by itself. No error pops up when I do that. The error ONLY pops up when I've used the "Save As STL" dialog from within Fusion 360 and have it selected to "Send to 3D Printer Utility" and have the Print Utility option set for Meshmixer . . . as in . . .

BUT, if I have that dialog set up to NOT "Send to 3D Print Print Utility", as in . . .

Then it pops up a dialog for where to put the .STL file, which I do, I do indeed save it to a folder on my computer.

I can THEN start up Meshmixer (with no errors popping up) and from within Meshmixer select to File/Import that saved .STL file and then proceed to do whatever I need within Meshmixer for the STL file.

But YIKES! It always USED to allow (for years, until today) sending it directly from Fusion 360 over to Meshmixer.

What might have changed? I updated my graphics card drivers and re-installed meshmixer? Is it something different with Fusion?

Might be related to this problem from this thread. There were these issues for some people with the latest Fusion update.
