Mesh - visibility problem

Hi Fellows,

I have STL 2D mesh in ASCII format ... generated by an engineering application. It shows itself correctly in many STL rendering apps like MeshMixer, MeshLab, etc. ... and even as an avatar in the designs side panel!
Strangely enough, it's wireframe is invisible in F360, although its mesh data is accessible via API without any trouble and shows sensible values (nodeCount=620, triangleCount=1140, isValid=True); thus meshBody seems to be correctly formed. The mesh can also be exported and re-imported, another indicator of its data cohesiveness.

I am unsure which Forum I should post the problem to, D&V or API, so I will utilize both venues as a smart donkey would

Hi Mr Mustafa Furkan Özel,

Could you try Visual Style - Wireframe ?

I re-edited the post adding a picture of other wireframe mesh (in the same design scenario) which behaves perfectly.

The mesh in the question represents the XZ intersection of the one in the picture below (similar).

I get the same result here, even with other display options. Maybe you need to change a few settings related to the graphics card and display in the settings section, I recommend you try restoring it to factory settings. Or you may need to update your graphics card driver.

Hi Mr Hi Mr Mustafa Furkan Özel,

Thank you for your efforts and the input ... into this mysterious problem

Yes, it could originate somewhere deep in the graphic path, ... but as other meshes show their beauties in the full show and also on your system ...  I suspect the problem is very convoluted.

Thank You,

MichaelT

The Donkey has found the problem! He has Section Analysis switched on ... and it happened that XZ plane section was active!

Thank you, all ZOO Keepers, for your help and the Audience for the attendance.
