I imported a mesh from Meshmixer and converted it to brep and I am unable to shell it. Is there a way to shell meshes in Fusion?

Hi @Anonymous,

As far as I know, you cannot shell meshes within Fusion 360. At this time, there really ins't much mesh manipulation that you can do within Fusion, but I do believe that it is on the roadmap! One thing you may want to try however (since I'm assuming you cannot shell the BRep based on geometry issues) is to create a zero-offset surface patch of your BRep and then thicken it accordingly. Again, without looking at your model this is somewhat hard to give good advice for, but I have a feeling the surface offset may work! If you would like to share your model with me at james.youmatz@autodesk.com, I'd be more than happy to take a look!

Thanks,
