Merging bodies - boolean error?

Trying to merge these 6 bodies into one body gives a boolean error? Have tried to use the AI support function but it didn't offer much in the way of a clear explanation. Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong please?

Can you share your design in native Fusion format (.f3d) ?

@technewbie

I recommend that you turn on Capture Design History and start over.

That is what I am going to do.

I assume that you will then want to Shell...

@technewbie

There was a trick in my technique that I did not yet reveal.

Did you figure it out?

@TheCADWhisperer

Shell should be done after loft the single part

I fail to see how that would return a useful result.

Then do it - and be sure to attach your result here for others to see how it should be done.

What is the function of the part (take a guess if not known for certain)?

Projecting the bottom to a sketch on its face shows that it is not a circle.  Fix this and a loft between that and the tops of the arms works:

p.s. Start over and turn history on.

p.s.p.s Ignore this, I used the bottom of the loft instead of the flat disk.  Just do the start over😁
