Mating slots

I have two parts with slots that I'd like to limit motion. The slots are perpendicular (one vertical, the other horizontal). I can get one direction to limit movement by the slider mate but I'd also like for it to slide the other direction also. I'm hoping I'm just missing something obvious.

Pleases attach your model.  Open in Fusion, select the File menu, select Export the attach to a reply post.

I just created a simple part to show what I'm after. Basically I'd like to be able to have a joint (or multiple) that will allow full range of motion with both slots.

First time doing this so hopefully I did it correctly.

I have attached two assembly models.  One has free motion along the plane between the two blocks but the motion is restricted between the length of the two slots.  The second has restricted motion between the two slot lengths, as the first, but it is also restricted to keep the slots 90 degrees to each other.  You were not clear on your desire.  I also broke the links between your external components to create F3D files so you can open them directly.

I would suggest you look at the Top View of each model, drag the free component, to understand the different motions.

Right, slider mates only control one direction at a time. You can add a second slider mate for the other axis, or use a slot/path mate so the parts can move freely along both directions.
