Mass Calculations Differ?

Hi All.
I am trying to get a reliable value for total mass of this design.  If i window select around the entire assembly and then select properties, it gives me one result.  If i select the assembly in the browser, right at the top, right click and properties, it gives me a completely different result.  I have a feeling that maybe there are removed or hidden components that are being shown in the browser view.  

Anyone got any ideas?

Hi @jamesf2SRYX ,

Thanks for the question. The difference you’re seeing is often due to hidden bodies/components that still get counted in one method but not the other.

Could you please try the following:

• Show all Bodies and Components in the browser.

Recheck the mass using both methods and see if the values match.

If the results are still different, feel free to share the design file (*.f3d/*.f3z) so we can take a closer look.

I tried what you said and your correct, the mass is now the same on both selections.  Its obviously showing hidden items, so I suppose the correct way to do this is to either remove items, or use the window select method.  Anyway, thanks for your assistance.
