manage appearance by parameters

Hi,

Could it be possible to manage Appearance of a part by parameters?

I have multiple parts in different aspects : polished, mat, painted, and in multiple colors.

I don't want to save one instance of each.

But in an assembly, I want to import several of them and give the same color/aspect to each.

Is ther any solution?

I've tried saving multiple version and One Milestone by aspect/color...

but it don't works really well, and I have to redo the job each time I edit the part.

Could it be possile to save some "states" or "Variants"

Many Thanks

I think what you are referring to is some form of "configuration" capability.  Fusion does not today have that capability, but it is high on our priority list, and hope to be delivering something like this in the future.

I'm a bit confused by this statement, though:  "But in an assembly, I want to import several of them and give the same color/aspect to each."  You should be able to do this today - just import 3 instances of the same design - they will all have the same color/aspect.  You can also apply Appearance overrides to inserted designs, as long as you have not put Appearances on bodies in the external components.

Perhaps I am misunderstanding those requirements.  If so, can you clarify?  Thanks
