Making DXF's _ How to pull from a specific face / direction vs Fusion's std "Front" direction

Hi,

I have a cube with spot facing and countersinks.  It makes sense to create DXF's that would be easy for the CNC countersink from the outside of the piece.  However, the back of the cube's DXF's always pull toward the "front".

In other words, I have to tell the CNC operator to flip the DXF.

Is there a way to choose which direction the DXF pulls from the sketch?  Do I have to fiip the DXF in a 2D dwg software  as a separate operation before giving it to the CNC operator?

Hi,

In a projection, all contours are created on same plane. It is not possible to see on which side the countersinks and the groove are located at the cut-out.

Sure.  I guess my question is whether it is common to require the CNC operator to flip / manipulate DXF as needed?  I would have preferred to send the operator a DXF that matched the layout as it will be machined.

A pocket can't be machined from the side laying on the machine bed.

I also made a PDF of the final machining so that the operator understands the end shape.  They should be able to figure it out, I just like to remove human error as much as possible.

You could explode text in the sketch indicating which side is up before saving it as a dxf.

Ah.  That's a good idea.
