making drawing, projected views opposite of intent

I'm trying to make a drawing from model, using New Drawing from Design. I place the parent view, and select Projected views to display the two end views, and the software is flipping the view orientation for some reason. When I move to the left end of the parent view, the end view displayed is the right end of the part. I can't find any settings to change or examine that might affect this behavior.

The part in question is a tubular item, and I do have the appearance set for a fairly transparent look. I don't know why this would matter, but I have used the drawing capability previously, and didn't see this specific problem. Is it a new bug, perhaps, or is there something I need to look at in my model or drawing settings? Thanks --

Are you using 3rd Angle Projection as your standard or are you using 1st Angle Projection?

Thanks for that (the dope slap;-). I had left the preferences set to Inherit From Design (which doesn't then show the projection angle as a choice), and since the design started in ISO/metric environment, first angle was the apparent default. Learned something here today.
