Making a wall thinner. Only want to shrink from outside wall

Hello all,

I currently have a pill shapped pressure vessel designed but I am having trouble. I want to descrease the weight of the pressure vessel by making the shell thinner from the outside. I want the inside diameter to remain a constant diameter, while I slowly decrease the outside diameter (hence, changing the thickness of the wall for the pressure vessel.)

I appreciate any help/comment.

Thanks.

That is rather hard to answer give that we have no idea how you designed your model.

My crystalbal is dark tonight, so maybe you could share your model ?

Yes, of course, Sorry about that.

Currently this is at a thickness of 1" I would like to slowly decrease the thickness of the walls but when I do that the Inside seems to be getting better

Good to know. No model ?

You can share the model by exporting it as an F3d and attaching it to a post.

If you're using Inventor then yu're in the wrong forum.

If you are using Fusion 360 I need to see a native Fusion format.
