Making a 2D cut of a component of a 3D model

Hey Folks,

I have this Fusion 360 model that I want to use to laser cut the 8 octagonal component "sheets" of this flaring horn model from a laser cutter.     The sheets of this model wont be accurate if I just project them onto the 2D plane, rather I need some way to get a 2D model of the conformal shape when it is layed flat on a plane.  How can I do this in Fusion360?  Is this a sheet metal feature?

Model attached.

Thanks,

Cere

I’m an artist and not a for-profit commercial entity so, free, free is
a good price point for my budget. 🙂
