major mesh issues

So I have spent two days fighting with the stupid mesh stuff in fusion 360

I have a complex shape that I have isolated out of a larger mesh. I have simplified it and remeshed it.

I still cant create a fregin solid. All I get is compute errors from fusion even after I remesh and repair it. I am still getting an error that that it does not have positive volume. Well, yea its a sheet metal shell.

I tried to bring it into Meshmixer in both 3mf format and obj. Both complete screw up the scale and since this is an actual car body I cant do that. So apparently bringing it into a different program is out of the question. I am at a complete loss. The mesh has a few small holes in it and I cant repair them. When I try to repair them I am forced to use the stitch tool, when I do that it completely ruins the shape.

I tried to do it manually using erase and fill and that won't work either. There is already a hole so it won't won't work.

Can I manually close the mesh? I am at a complete loss here. No I know why everyone avoids fusion for this. Its useless

Attach both files here, the stl before you altered it and the Fusion file that you edited.

hello, from your picture i can only see that the white areas have to overlap, because the lines do not go to the blue net. please try to modify your selection filter so that it only selects these areas. then delete and reconnect. best wishes. mango
