Mac App Version & Dot Com Version renewal question

Hello, I purchased a yearly license from MAS last year because I am physically in Hong Kong. I had been able to sign into the Dot Com version of Fusion in the last whole year.

 

My term was renewed and charged automatically by the MAS account on Oct 15, 2016. However from Oct 18, 2016 (Hong Kong time) the Dot Com version says "Term Expired". The only way to get out of that was to uninstall the Dot Com version and install the MAS version instead.

 

Is there a change in the Autodesk policy? If that is the case, the means I cannot use the same ID to sign into the PC version as well. Please clarify that.

 

I changed to the MAS version because I had to cancel the Singapore Subscription. MAS version allows me to move between countries and still maintain an active license.

Hi @Anonymous,

I am sorry you are experiencing this issue. Purchasing a subscription on MAS should update your entitlements and allow you to use either .com or MAS.  Let me look into this for you and get back to you.

Hi @Anonymous,

We continue to investigate your issue. In the meantime, we have updated your entitlements so that you will be able to use either .com or MAS.  It will show up as a "trial" entitlement until we have the issue completely resolved on our end. We will get it fully resolved soon.  Thank you for bringing this to our attention and I am sorry for the inconvenience.

Amador just emailed me and informed me that the problem is fixed. 300 Cloud Credits also entered into my account for my trouble.  Thanks for all these! It is working now.
