Hey, can someone help me connect the lines to get a sheet metal that unfolds? The top part worked, but the rest never aligns nicely. File attached. It is supposed to eventually become a ship's hull.Schermafbeelding 2026-08-09 om 10.51.08.jpg

Not an available function in Fusion.

Body 5 and Body 6, (and mirrors) will work when saved as STL, taken to Meshmixer, and unwrapped.

Save as STL for export out of Meshmixer.

Import them to the Fusion File.

Trace the outlines, in a new Sketch to be exported as DXF.

Hope you are doing good! I wanted to follow up and see if you had a chance to review davebYYPCU 's post. Please let us know if the suggested workaround helped you achieve the result you were looking for, or if you are still experiencing the issue and need further assistance.

Yes, the workaround does work, but it's a bit cumbersome. Why isn't it possible in Fusion itself? MeshMixer is from Autodesk too, right?

The sides of your boat are twisted, (Lofts) you can only get Flat Patterns from Circular and Conical (arc not spline) faces (Extrudes and Revolves).

They have no tools to flatten the twisted ones.
