I'm trying to create a smooth downward slope between the two bodies shown below.
I was able to accomplish this on a similar shape by extruding the shape between them and applying a filet (image below).
However, the filet didn't work on my new shape like it did before. I think it's because there's not enough surface area on it? I'm not sure why.
I've been reading and watching videos on the Loft tool which seems very relevant here, but I can't get the loft to solve. I've tried various pairs of profiles, sketching a spline to use as a rail, etc. I am very new though so I would believe I'm missing something obvious to experienced users.
I attached my f3d file. Can anyone take a look and see why a loft can't be applied? (or possibly a filet if you have time, but I feel like loft is the proper tool for this?)
