I'd like to get sort of a shell: four walls (with a thicknes) but no top and no bottom. How should I do that?

I've found a workaround by using loft a second time but I hoped I could do it in only one action. The workaround will, at least, show you what end result I was expecting:

The inner rectangles are not needed. (extra work)

Loft outer rectangles and then Shell. (same as in other MCAD softwares)

This works only if the thickness of the shell is constant

In that case - if - Loft of multiple closed loops could give you wall thickness, would a single Loft return non-uniform wall thickness?

Can you give more information about your true Design Intent?

Can you File>Export and then Attach your *.f3d file here?

Can you link to images of designs that are similar to your Design Intent?

Fusion does not do "hollow loft" like you want (assuming you don't want uniform wall thickness).  Instead, you have to do this as two lofts - a solid loft of the outer boundaries, and another Cut loft of the inner.

Thanks, Jeff. What I did, basically.

+TheCADWhisperer Since I got my answer, the topic is closed for me but I can make a file if you want. Tell me

(I'm a newbie.) Isn't there a command like "shell" that will hollow stuff out, or "thicken"?   Basically, I don't want to change the radius (etc) for making it thicker to accommodate a 3D printer

Yes, but both the Shell command AND the Thicken command only allow for a constant thickness. If you want anything that varies, you'll have to do an exterior loft followed by an interior loft (or whatever operations give you the variation that you need).
