List Projects by Most Recent

I would like to be able to sort the Projects in the left side pane based on when a file within was last edited. That way, the projects that I'm working on will be at the top of the list.

In your data panel there is a project listed called "'My Recent Data".  Here you can quickly access your most recent files you have worked on.

Sorry Promm, This is not a solution. Please re-read my original ideastation request. I would like to sort the *projects* by date. I know that individual files can be viewed this way. I manage a great number of files and projects and this is not ideal for my use case. Please update the status on this post.

@cookiecrumblekid  if your going to resurrect a thread from 7 years ago, it's a good idea to have an understanding of the question. 

The OP is requesting to be able to sort the "projects" not the folders or files.
