Limit all effects issue

I don't know if it's an issue but if we check the "limit all effect to provide..." option is not possible to render  the floor reflections.

Raytracing doesn't use the gpu then I should always see the reflection on the infinite floor when I select the path tracer kernel.

regards

Thanks for reporting this. The issue is under investigation*.

It doesn't appear to have anything to do with Limit all Effects. However this setting, when used, will prevent you from turning on effects. So first things first, if you want reflections but your video slows with all effects turned on, then do not use Limit all Effects. Instead, just go to your settings and turn off the heavy effects like anti-aliasing and ambient occlusion. Leave ground reflections as ON.

The bug you are reporting is that even when you have effects turned ON (with a check in the box), they do not appear. This is the problem. The workaround is to uncheck and then check the box. Your reflections, or shadows, etc. will appear.

Please let me know if this solves your immediate problem with rendering reflections.

Thanks again,

Phil

One more finding:

I forgot about the setting inside the Environment tool in rendering. So there are two toggles. It appears to cause some confusion in the UI.

This is similar to a room  in your house with two light switches for one lamp. The "on" setting is relative. In the case of Fusion this should not be the case and we will fix it.
