Learning to Design R/C planes using Fusion 360...need some guidance

I am learning to use Fusion 360 for the purpose of designing and making radio controlled model planes.  I've designed them in Autocad for years but it's an arduous process.  I was hoping to speed the design process up with Fusion but I am struggling a bit.

Once I create the shape I want I need to insert structure, formers, stringers, sheeting etc.  I have started with this http://a360.co/28Yc6Io but I need to guidance on best practices and tools to make the process more efficient.

Dear lord you used Autocad for that in the past ... I still hate it when I have to use it for interior design ...

But hey now we can use Fusion 360 and do it the right way.

So how could I help you?

how important is surfacing for you and how will you later build the actual prorotypes or models

do you have internal components you measured in?

I do the same thing, I have checked the file in A360, but didn't get very far as it locked up.

you have done well, my first impression was you are further down the track than I am at the moment.

Because you are this far, it now depends on what output you need,

section drawings, for 2d  printing

3D formers and ribs, for CNC router - laser

sculpted fuse, cowls and canopies for plugs and moulds?

or are you asking how to add more structure pieces?
