Paste New components enter timeline ungrouped. ☹️

I wish they where left in a group like when you break link components.😊 That would eliminate my next issue....sometimes I can not group components features in the timeline.  See video demo.

Hi,

It is not clear how you have set up your components but it looks like they are a huge bunch all in the same group.

Fusion works best if you set up components as assemblies and sub assemblies and use joints to join them all

together. If you use this method then the timeline looks much nicer and is much easier to manipulate.

Without your model file it is difficult to tell but what I can tell you is that if you had that shelf as a separate part

in a sub assembly, then all of the operations would have been grouped together and would have been copied to

the timeline in a block.

It is good to see some as built joints, but I also see a few capture position icons in the timeline. They are not really

needed and may affect performance like moving parts does. Sure check that a joint moves as intended but if a part

is blocking visibility of the model then use the visibility icons in the browser to hide it.

If you post your file then the forum can have a look at it and maybe give you further advice about workflows to help

with this problem.

Cheers

Andrew
