Fusion 360 for some reason only allows you to import JPEG images for "insert canvas" only if they have .jpg at the end. In other words if I have a JPEG filename that is "Underlay", (but the file is truly a jpeg) fusion won't allow me to upload it. But if the file is named "Underlay.jpg" it will immediately detect it. Please!!! This needs to be fixed! I'm using a mac, and not all filenames have extensions to them.

I don't have such a problem, since the jpeg format is supported in the inserting canvas menu

Here is a screenshot of me trying to upload a jpeg

Hello Hamza,

Thanks for replying to my post, and sorry for the late response. I believe the problem only persists for Macs. And allows you to pick the image because there is a ".jpg" or ".jpeg" at the end of your filename. Mine wouldn't allow me to do that even though it was truly a jpeg.

It seems to be working fine now. Maybe it had something to do with that particular instance I was in.

Hey guys... sorry once again for the late response. It seems to be working fine now. I don't know why. It selects the image whether it has its extension in its filename or not.

That's quit strange ...

@TrippyLighting as far as I know, you use mac, have you ever encountered such a thing?
