Joints and Joint Origins

I was looking up a solution to a different problem I was having and came across a poster suggesting using Joint Origins too often is bad practice... Is this true?

I have been drawing components and bodies in random planes lately and using Joint Origins and Joints now for a while.   Here I thought I was getting better at this software.

Is this a bad practice?

File updated.

Edit Joint > change type to Revolve, change axis to what one you think is needed (Y),

I drive the joint 45 degrees and take another picture with same navigation orientation as the original pic. (Captured Position so you can step left to see for yourself.)

Might help.....

Hi,

Use Revolve for the unusual.

After my thinking system gave up its resistance after several hours of rest to use a Revolute instead of a Rigid Joint I am now back on track.
Thank you for your patience.
