Joint positioning with a third plane

Hello everyone, I am facing a challenge where I need to stick 3 faces of something to 3 faces of something else. The joint functions allow only 2 planes and a snap to join both components.

The joint edge function is the workaround I'm using, but it is necessary to compensate for the Z height each time I join that component in my design.

A nice feature would be to have the options to choose a third faces instead of snap.

Other solution is welcome as well !

Where is the corner bracket Origin?

Joint options allows for virtual intersection,

Fusion Joints requires a common snap point. Offsets are allowed.

Might help…..

Hi,

It seems that you have one of the joints in the correct position to the three struts. If so you can simply set the joints

of the two other struts as an As-Built joint. Also, if it is possible to set up one joint in the correct place then you should

be able to set the other two in the same way. If the struts are in the correct two out of three planes then setting all

three struts should naturally snap into place.

Hi, the as-built joint don't works because they are different components from some time, different manufacturers.  the way I am using it is offsetting the value manually, but I have to check first what it is. I found it would be easier if we could select which face a,b,c sketch to d,e,f. Until then, it works at least.
