Day 7:

Finally got things to work better and begining to make progress.  Before I have to spend another entire day searching and watching videos etc, would somebody please be kind enough to either tell me or point me directly to a way to quickly edit the offset of an existing joint in the model space?  Any quick help would be really appreciated.

Don't panic. Still don't know how to do it and the learning link is currently down but changed the joint type to cylinder and that will do for moment.

If you would share your model and explain what you want to do that would certainly be more helpful than these brief messages that don't really explain anything.

http://a360.co/2anxyS1 - you will see what I mean.
It seems to work well using the cylinder joint. Prior to that I used a revolute with offset (that was the bit I wanted to edit) but this works much better. Thanks

When you select the joint which you want to edit, there is a "Drive Joint" command in context menu. You should be able to use it to edit the offset. Is it what you want?

Thank you Cloud Peng, yes that is what I found with a bit of playing around and why the cylinder joint was the right choice. It is easy enough to slice some tube and weld in the gaps between the bends.

Thank you everyone for the help.
