Joint. Change which component is the moving one.

Hi.

When assemble two components with a revolute joint, I can drive the joint, moving the first selected component.

Is the a way to switch between moving the first or the second selected component, without making a new joint ?

Thanks in advance.

You could edit the joint. Deselect the components and reselect in the opposite order. I'm not sure if this is what you meant, but i've done that and it worked for me.

That's what I usually do - change the order of components that I select when creating the joint. But it doesn't always work. Instead try "grounding" the component you don't want to use. Right click on the component and select "Ground".

Attach your model and define clearly what you want to move.  If you do not know how to attach your Fusion 360 model follow these easy steps. Open the model in Fusion 360, select the File menu, then Export and save as a F3D or F3Z file to your hard drive. Then use the Attachments section, of a forum post, to attach it.
