Issue with Parts List
The issues you mention are already taken care of in a Fusion 2D Drawing Parts List. If you create a drawing of the full assembly, then the parts list is complete. You can then uncheck any component and it is removed from both the drawing views and the parts list. You can then use the Balloon Renumber command to renumber the balloons and the items in the Parts List. I agree the renumber process could be streamlined but it is there. Video will show all of this.
