Issue with contours and text

Hi there

New to the forum. I'm use Fusion 360 for plasma cutting.

I'm have a problem once I have added text to my sketch. Once I go to the manufacture tab, select the contours and complete the 2D set up, the program does not recognize the text portion.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi,

either extrude the text (cut-option?) or convert the text into a path >  right-click > Explode.

That doesn't sound normal.  Directly machining text works for me.  Attach your file to the thread for further investigation: File/Export/Archive file *.f3d
