Is there a way to control the visibility of the junction between fillets and adjacent planes? I want to see visible edged but not the edges of fillets.

All or nothing.

There is one way around this though.

In the real world you would almost certainly break those sharp edges with at least a tiny fillet.

You could do that and then change the Appearance Properties of the Fillet faces.

What appearance property would you suggest be changed for the fillets?

Whatever appears aesthetically pleasing to you.

I used Black in my example.

I see how you did that now. Is there a fast way to select all edges at once?

@Inspections_JCH

Not selecting edges - selecting Faces.

There is a difference in CAD.

I started with the fillets as large as possible to make them easy to select and then after changing the Appearance I set them to a small radius.

I decided this might be the wrong way.

Make the part completely black and then select the faces to change to wood appearance.

The large faces are easier select and perhaps fewer of them.  But then you have to deal with wood grain direction.

You might set up a library of grain directions.

All of this is so much easier in Autodesk Inventor Professional where you can drag grain direction and simply "paint bucket" apply Appearances to Bodies, Features or Faces.  In Inventor I would be able to select all Fillet Features. Done!

Your suggestion is quite elegant.  I will give it a try.
