Hi,
In response to the question regarding firewalls, antivirus, etc. no, you don't have to turn those off. However depending on the settings chosen in those configurations they may need to be modified to allow Fusion to connect with our servers.
Additionally also ensure you have admin rights to the ~\appdata\local and ~\appdata\roaming (Windows) or ~Application Support (Mac) folders.
If you had an older version of Fusion 360 on your system you may want to first perform a complete uninstall (see instructions in README located at: Fusion 360 README).
Once uninstalled, re-install from this page:http://www.autodesk.com/products/fusion-360/overview.
On Windows-based systems you can also search your registry (using RegEdit) for the key "FusionDoc". If found, delete it as part of your uninstall process.
