Insert Canvass Command Issue

Trying to use Insert Canvas to place a pdf schematic into Fusion from my computer but seems to be acting weird. When I choose From My Computer as the source for the file I'm not seeing any of the files I want. I created a separate folder for these files but when I click on the folder it's empty. Yet, when I go into my computer through the folder icon at the bottom of my screen where my browser icon is all the files appear. I purchased these plans and want to bring them into Fusion to create the drawings I need from them. Could Fusion just be acting up or are these files protected somehow and Fusion can't see them? Never had this problem with any other files I imported into Fusion. Any suggestions or tips would really be appreciated.

I think Canvas does not support PDF as a target.  Only image files (PNG, JPG, etc), and PDF is not supported, as near as I can tell.
