Hi,

I would like to ask that do you know how can I import individual  electric parts into the mechanic design? I mean the buttons, switches, potmeter etc. sometime this parts are not place on the PCB .  I need to know the exact dimensions about this components to fit perfectly in place and after that I can design the air wires to the PCB for them.

And an another question, how can I put back the ready PCB its place in the design part.

can somebody link a tutorial for it or make one?

thx

You can import any neutral format model you desire.  The first source I would use is the built-in application in Fusion 360.  I demonstrate this in the Screencast.  If you find a certain manufacturer on the web that offers STEP, STP or SAT CAD files, you can download those and open them also directly into Fusion 360.

Thank, i thought i need to search in the electric library. the sad thing that I couldn't find anything what I would like there. I couldn't find, the regular "simple" things like a ps3 minijoy, a 5v 3pin potentiometer, or 4-way trim button. And one more question. If I insert a bearing or screw in my design, then I can do some parameter rule for them that if i replace the bearing or the screw then it modifies automatically the drawing dimensions too?
I couldn't see the dimensions of the bearing In the parameter fx menu to make a dimension connection between the axle and the bearing and the housing and the bearing this way.

I am not sure I understand your question but I will guess.  Inserted components are just bodies and will not have any parameters included in them.  You would have to model them yourself to add those.  So I guess the answer is no.

yes this was my question, but this is a little weird to can not to do that. because that is why we choose the standard part to keep it exact the same parameter what the on the shelf  part has, or we have a  solid dimension to start design something. But if I model a bearing to follow the dimensions than it cause some problems later on when I buy a bearing and it doesn't fit its place because the driven dimension was change some reason. or just we forgot to change it. or we don't know all parameter of the standard part.
And at last, it takes more time to model every part what you need like if you only insert it somewhere from the library.
