improving settings for stl repair

I need to repair some STL files to be able to slice them in Chitubox. I know Fusion 360 can repair the files because it powers Formlabs PreForm software repair function and I have repaired the same files for printing on a Form 3. When I do the file in Fusion, it goes much slower. What takes maybe 15 minutes in preform is still going after an hour in Fusion and the progress bar is around 60%. So, there must be a way to configure Fusion to go faster, but I can't figure it out. Can I tell it to use more RAM or CPU? Even with PreForm which went much faster it never got over 20% cpu.

Hi,

This is due to the number of triangles.
Better try it in Mesh Mixer.

It's slightly better in Meshmixer. Ultimately, I cleaned up the model myself so the bad parts of the mesh were less egregious. I don't know to what extent PreForm fixes the mesh with Fusion and to what extent it tolerates bad meshes. It's possible I'm getting as much out of Fusion/Meshmixer as PreForm does. I was not able to completely clean the mesh in Meshmixer, but after getting rid of all overlapping coplanar faces I had no problems slicing my file.
