Image size matching Display to Rendering

My part is 2mm x 89mm, it is basically a template in order to print a decal on an inkjet printer.  I am trying to go from the modeling environment to the rendering environment but, I am getting messed up because of the zooming size.  If the part is 2mm x 89mm in the modeling environment then I need the rendering environment to reflect this so it is a true representation of the modeled part size.  I am pretty sure it has something to do with the Zoom ratio on my display however when I zoom the display down small enough so it approximately represents the true part size I lose the text detail all together.  Rendering picks up all the other components but not the text.

Can you File -> Export the project and attach here? Unless nobody answered your question you might want to provide more / better information.

Do I understand you are attempting to position the part in the Render environment so it appears on screen the same dimensions as the target print size?  Keep in mind the screen size of the image need not/probably doesn't directly relate to the print size of the image.    Why not Render the model at the highest size/resolution possible, then process the image in whatever program you use to prepare images for printing?    Ultimately, the measurement is going be delivered in dots per inch.
