Image Capture Problems

So I tried to save a Rendering through Image capture and when I got into the Image Options panel the program would not allow me to make changes to the settings.  This would not be a big deal if the Resolutions wasn't 30 DPI.  I need it at 300 DPI.  Does anyone have a quick fix for this issue?

Hi @Anonymous,

Is this what you are trying to achieve?

If so, I was able to change these settings by creating my own custom resolution. Then adjusting the width and height accordingly. To change the resolution i changed the units from pixels to inches, and then changed the resolution. In this case it automatically adjusted the width and height for me. All i had to do was change the units from inches back to pixels and then adjust the width and height that way. The resolution stayed the same for me.

Let me know if this was what you were trying to accomplish,

Hi @Anonymous

I assume you are using the desktop render to create the images.  Currently the size and resolution of the desktop render images is limited to the size and resolution of your screen.

For the moment, If you need custom size and resolution, you can do this using a cloud render.

Just click on the cloud render button in the Render workspace - by default the cloud render will do a screen size render.

Click on the Presets tab and then select Print.  You have 3 size options at 300PPI.

We will be adding local background rendering in the November update that will allow you to do this on your desktop.

Hope this helps.
