If I make a local backup from the cache file, do I need to keep the _XX files?

I made a local backup of my project utilizing offline caching as recommended by Autodesk, but I haven't been able to find a clear answer on whether the _xx file is needed or just an artifact of this method.

Can anyone clarify if there is any issue deleting the _xx files?

@ejowalter You will need those files as this is where meta data of file relationships are stored. For example if a design is associated with a drawing, the information is stored in this file. There are a lot more info that just this but bottomline you will need those files.
