Now that Fusion 360 supports FFF printing method in Manufacturing module, the 3MF fileformat will gain more importance. For example: To enhance the FFF-printer of your choice by importing the mesh of your desired build platform, you need the 3MF-file of the platform, but there's no way to convert a buildplatform model from within Fusion to the 3MF format, nor is it possible to do with for example Inventor. So there are at least two options:
1. Full support of 3MF file import and export in all Autodesk software, this has my preference.
2. Be able to use other file formats for importing build-platform-meshes or -models from other Autodesk applications.
