It is hard to tell what icon you say is blue but I think you are on the wrong one.  The Screencast will show the process.

What you supplied is a screen capture, not a Screencast as requested.  What we are looking for is the "state" of Fusion 360 when you select the icon.  However it sounds to me it is time to do a "clean" uninstall and reinstall.  Make sure you restart your system between the uninstall and reinstall and also that you are using a computer profile that has sufficient rights.

@eriorellana89 hello - unfortunately you want to use something like grids. a lot feel bothered and annoyed by the grids and switch off this mischief. helpful in tinkercad - very annoying in fusion. greetings mango

You never supplied a Screencast but you did say that you clicked on the "Down Arrow" beside the indicated icon and it gave you nothing.  This would indicate to me that the Fusion 360 installation is not complete and you need to do a Clean Uninstall and re-install of the application as I mentioned before.  Did you do this?

Hi,

If you can't access the grid settings like in the GIF you should follow @jhackney1972  and do a CLEAN UNINSTALL.
