I can't get my drawing to print with all the lines

hey we are in the process of switching over to fusion from solidworks and I have been having to remodel some of our designs. The modeling is going pretty well but I am running into issues with converting those to a drawing. The drawing comes out fine if it is not converted to a pdf, but unfortunetly you must convert to print the drawing. When I convert the drawing to pdf I am losing details that were in the drawing. Is this a known problem? Is there anything I can do to fix this? I converted to .dwg and opened it through the fusion 360 online viewer and it came up with all the detail, but the print looks awful.

Hi Cody,

Sorry to hear you're having a problem with drawings and pdfs.  I checked our defect tracking system and don't see anything for missing geometry (we have had a few reports of poorer resolution in the past though). Would it be possible for you to send me (christopher dot miller at autodesk dot com) the output dwg and pdf?  I'd like to see what specific geometry is missing.

Thanks,

Chris

We are experiencing the same probleme. A pretty simple sketch, extruded to a component in an assembly.

When we are ready to produce our 2D prints, the visual representation on the "drawing" function in fusions looks all right. Therefore, when we output it to create our pdf files, somes lines on the projected view are missing. There is nothing in parameters we could chance that will fix it.

What is wrong?

Hi Etienne,

It's hard to tell without seeing the drawing and pdf.  Provided the lines are displayed when viewing the drawing in Fusion though, those same lines should appear in the output PDF.  There are no separate settings for the output. Are you on Windows or Mac? Which OS? If you can attach the drawing/pdf or output the drawing and send it to me along with the pdf, I can take a look.  Please send to christopher.miller@autodesk.com.

Thanks,
Chris
