How would you model this seemingly simple shape? (Modern wall hook)

I can see there is a Helix with 0.5 revolutions.

 

Couple of things I'm having trouble with:

 

---Making the "bend" perpendicular. I believe this comes down to constructing a Helix with a "Helix Angle" of 45 deg. Not sure the best way to approach that.

---Transitioning from curved to straight areas.

Further simplification.

Note the fact that a bend line can be used twice so long as you set the "Bend Line Position" of the first instance to "Start" and the second instance to "End". (This is also good workaround for "hemming" functionality)

 

@lichtzeichenanlage are you still thinking about printing this?
