I'm sure this issue is an easy fix but I'm not quite sure how to go about it, any help would be appreciated 🙂

you can do this with Patch.  I notice that each section is a separate component.  Is that by design?  It's fine, you just have to click a bit more to get the Patch to work.

But, Patch produces a surface body - you'll need to figure out whether this is sufficient for your usage.  You can thicken it, but then it will extend either above or below the bottom of your pool.  If you want this to be solid, I would not have had each side ramp come to a sharp edge.

So changing the geometry of the bottom of the ramp and designing the ramps with a thickness at the bottom will help with achieving the thickness I want for the flat bottoms?

here's another way to do it, without having to modify your existing geometry.  The basic steps are:

  1. offset the patch surface
  2. extend the outer boundary of that offset surface, enough so that it intersects with the pool sides
  3. loft from the first surface to the second, by selecting the edges
  4. stitch those 3 bodies together.  This will turn your floor into a solid

@syd.patterson that design is quite an improvement over your last design in terms of stability. Well done!

While it might not matter much in this relatively small design, in a bigger design the top level sketches folder might get very populated and it will get harder which sketches were used to create what track section.

For this I'd like to refer you to Fusion 360 R.U.L.E #1. If you create a component and activate it then all sketches and construction planes etc will be located in that component and not in the top level.

When you then activate a component that you want to edit it will filter the timeline only for those items that belong to that component. That makes finding things much quicker.
