How to work with .stl fie

Many sites only provide .stl files for download. How can edit a .stl file in fusion360? Or how an I convert it into a body to work with it? Please tell me there is a way.

In general, the answer is no.  .STL files are mesh descriptions, and Fusion does not yet have a robust mesh editing capability.  You can bring meshes into Fusion, and display them.  If they are "quad meshes" you can convert them to Sculpt bodies and edit them in the Scult workspace.  For small meshes, you can convert to a Solid or Surface and do some limited editing.

For pure mesh editing, I would recommend Autodesk Meshmixer: http://www.meshmixer.com/
