how to turn off reposition view behavior

I spend about 25% of my time repositioning my view because fusion keeps trying to be helpful and constantly moves me out of my preferred point of view to some view it thinks I probably want.  It's very frustrating. Can i turn this weird behavior off?  If so,, how?

It is customary, and good practice, if someone, in this case @Warmingup1953, solves your Forum question to mark "Accept Solution" on his post. 

Marking the "Accept Solution" icon does three things.
