How to Sketch on/from Extruded Surface

Hey All,

New to the forum! I had a quick question on a spanner wrench I am modeling. 

How do you sketch from an extruded surface? I have created both "ends" of my spanner wrench but I am having trouble connecting the two. 

Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Also, it's good to be on the forum!

There are several ways you can do this, depending of how you imagine the end result to look like.

If you post what you have I can look at it. I am sure others will chime in as well as this is a fairly common problem.

Attached is a cheap version using a new body that is moved into position using the move command and then joined to the two existing bodies. Then some filleting is applied.
