How to shorten a view in drawing

Hello,

I am not sure what the correct english word is so my search in the forums has been unsuccessful.

I have a body that is very thin and long, that i would like to "cut" out a part of the the drawing view.  there is a symbol that means it continues here for an undisclosed length without change in geometry.

so i would like to have the object large with details seen. If it was drawn correct it would be bigger than the paper...

I am sure you know what i mean. please what is this view called and is it present in fusion 360?

brgrds,

Lars

Hi @Anonymous

Thank you for posting Smiley Happy

I understand that you want to create “break view” like inventor.

I think Fusion360 is not supporting it so far...

Fortunately, I've found out your issue on the IdeaStation and it’s already accepted as future consideration.

Please take a look at this

I think we will be able to use it someday.

Many thanks!
