How to separate part from same body

Hello!

First sorry for my bad english...

I would like to separate a piece of body (for 3 print). In thos picture I would like separate the green body in black circle. How can I do this?

I think you have to make another body, or surface that "Slices" through the body and use the Combine command to get your desired STL

BTW, next time plan your design to have bodies that you would wish to print as separate components/bodies with as-built rigid joint so later you can RMB then click download stl

Hi,

Use the Split Body tool to separate the two pieces, but make sure that it's not extended as shown in this screencast, and that's the whole idea of that plane
