How to scale one item to another, STI files.

I'm new to all of this so I was hoping someone could help me by providing some instructions on scaling and measuring. I have a 3D model of a helmet that is an STI file. I had pre scaled it in another program to get it to the appoximate correct measurments to fit me. I have another file that is also an STI file that has the original helmet broken down into 3 parts but at the original scale. Is there a way to scale my 3 item break down to the same size as the full sized item? Or is there a way to "cut" the full sized helmet into the three parts?

Also, I know there is the measuring tool...But, is there any way to get the total dimentions of an item at once (length, width, depth, circumfrence, etc)?

Thanks for your help in advance.

If you want the envelope dimensions of the part, you can throw it into PrintStudio really quickly and see that. It is also a great place to do the scaling, the carving up, and adding in alignment features.

You can do all of that using MeshMixer as well. Mesh mixer is more feature packed to include actual mesh manipulation but PrintStudio is more specific to just printing.
