How to repeat part of a design?

Hi everybody,

I'm pretty new to Fusion, and 3D design in general. I'm drawing an enclosure for electronics. In the side wall there are air vents (louvres). I've managed to make one and I am pretty pleased with myself.

But now I'm wondering how can I repeat this (other than repeating my actions for each louvre). There must be a smart way to do this? I need to copy the extrusion and cut-out.

Can anyone tell me the best approche to achieve this? Thanks!

Thanks Günther! I didn't know about this function, this is really helpful.

I have manged to copy my louvres. Only I had to use the patern tool twice. Once for the cut-out, and once for the exthrusion. Is it correct it can't do both in one go?

Hi,

I show one way to do it in a single Pattern in the screencast.
Nevertheless, I recommend a step-by-step approach to get to know this tool.
The selection of the "Compute" option (Adjust, Identical ...) can be decisive for the success of the action.

Hi,
Go to pattern and select the rectangle pattern and pattern the required feature along a direction.
Thank you.

But do not forget to set pattern type as a feature.
