Wow that is pretty 😉 I think there are a few options. First you can click on the little computer monitor on the bottom of the screen and for Visual Style choose Shaded. Also you could do a Modify > Combine or Stitch of the two bodies, which should remove that line. Finally, although I haven't used it myself much yet, in the Render environment lines like that will likely not show up.
