How to put tolerance lines on a fixture?

Working on a checking fixture for a stamped part. I need to put min and max lines on the fixture for the perimeter of the part, and borders for the holes, slots, and other mounting/clearance features. I usually use BobCAD for this procedure. The way I achieve this is to put a circle whose radius is my tolerance on a plane perpendicular to one of the flat faces of my fixture, then run a sweep of that circle around the desired edges of the part. In BobCAD, I am then able to use a command called "Intersection Curves" to create curves wherever the sweep intersects the fixture. In BobCAD, the "Intersection Curves" command allows you to pick two intersecting surfaces, and creates a line/curve/spline at the intersection(s) of the selected surfaces.

I was able to successfully create the sweep I need in F360, but haven't been able to create the 3D curves I need.

F360 also has the command "Intersection Curve", which claims to create a 3D curve from intersecting geometry, which sounds like exactly what I need to do. Unfortunately this tool does not behave the way I was hoping. Trying to figure out how to achieve what I need to do here. As always, any and all help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Something like this? Without knowing much else, this is likely how I would do what you're asking.

Notes:

1) The copy and paste operation is used to create a dummy solid of the base to attach the tolerance sweep to

2) The "include 3D geometry" command can be used in a single sketch

3) Your timeline has errors in it. Fix those before the forum hawks eat your lunch. Smiley Tongue

This looks like exactly what I was trying to do. Thanks a million!
